Claris CAD: Fillet

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
An arc used to intersect two lines so that they do not meet at a sharp angle. This gives the look of a "rounded" corner. It is similar to a chamfer, but the trimmed area becomes an arc rather than a diagonal line.

By the way, it's pronounced 'fill-it', as in what you do to a gas tank, not 'fillay' as in' filet of sole."
