MacDraw II: Converting Older Documents to Use ImageWriter Options

The page setup is saved as part of documents created with previous versions of MacDraw II. Therefore, to take advantage of all the ImageWriter II print options/features in a document created with an earlier version of MacDraw II follow the steps below.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
Please follow these steps:

1. Open the document from within MacDraw II 1.0v4.

2. Open the Chooser dialog box under the Apple menu.

3. Select a printer other than your ImageWriter.
Note: You must have other Apple printer drivers (such as ÒLaserWriterÓ) in your system folder to perform this step.

4. Choose Page Setup from the File menu and click OK.

5. Reopen Chooser. (See your Macintosh ownerÕs manual if you need help using Chooser).

6. Reselect your ImageWriter.

Now when you choose Page Setup, all options will be available.
