MacDraw 1.x: Character Spacing Issues

In MacDraw II 1.x, the words in the menus are too wide (e.g., the Edit menu has wide spaces between the letters). Or, the text in text blocks is incorrect (too wide or too narrow).

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
Delete the font from the System file (all sizes. With Monaco, Chicago and Geneva, delete as many sizes as the computer will allow). Then, reinstall the font from a current system / font disk. Check the computer to make sure that only one version of the font is installed.
