If a user reports that a PostScript font looks funny on the screen, yet it prints well using MacDraw I or II, then most likely they have installed old fonts prior to system software 5.0.
This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
Solution:
Reinstall the fonts with system software 5.0 or above. Or, they need Apple's screen fonts instead of Adobe's screen fonts. Adobe also sells the screen versions of the standard LaserWriter fonts. This includes Helvetica, times and courier.
