MacDraw II: Exported Text Get Clipped on the Right

When copying and pasting text from MacDraw II or MacDraw Pro into another application, the right side of the pasted text may be clipped.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
This can happen if the setting for "Fractional Character Widths" (FCW) is different between the two applications (i.e., if FCW is on in one application and off in the other application).

If the other application supports Fractional Character Widths, turn this option on in both MacDraw and the other application. FCW is turned on in the Preferences dialog box in MacDraw. Consult your user manual for information regarding FCW in the other application. Then copy and paste normally.

If the other application does not support FCW, turn FCW off in MacDraw, then copy and paste normally.
