Hewlett-Packard: DraftPro 7575A (DXL) 7576A (EXL)

Hewlett-Packard released two new plotters, the DraftPro 7575A (DXL) and the 7576A (EXL), late in 1989. These popular models were introduced after the MacPlot driver was written, so MacPlot does not support them directly, and Claris has not tested them for compatibility with our software.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
According to Hewlett-Packard technical representatives, these new models are similar to plotters in the DraftMaster series. You can try the following settings:

DraftPro DXL
Set the plotter's DIP switches to emulate a DraftPro. Under MacPlot Configure, indicate you are using a Hewlett-Packard DraftMaster I.

DraftPro EXL
Set the plotter's DIP switches to emulate a DraftPro. Under MacPlot Configure, indicate you are using a Hewlett-Packard DraftMaster II.

Their plotters will function to spec. with one difference: the 7575A and 7576A have a larger plot area than the DM series. You must purchase MacPlot professional if you wish to take advantage of the full plotting area available to you.
