MacPlot: Microspot Plotter Driver

The MacPlot driver formerly shipped with Claris CAD, MacDraw II and MacProject II was a customized version of the MacPlot Professional plotter driver available from Microspot.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
The Claris version of the driver supports a limited set of plotters and works only with the Claris applications listed. The driver supports other plotters only if they emulate the supported plotters.

Current limitations of MacPlot 1.2
1- Not compatible with 32-bit addressing
2- No support for architectural paper sizes to HP plotters
3- Not compatible with virtual memory
4- Cannot create HPGL Plot Files
5- Does not support using Adobe Type Manager with Claris CAD.
6- Does not offer direct support for Calcomp, Roland, and other manufacturers.
