MacDraw II: Saving Changes to a Locked File on AppleShare

MacDraw II 1.1v2 has a bug that allows users to make and save changes to a file on an AppleShare Server that is locked from the Finder.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
When you open the file users will get a message that says "File is locked...can't save changes". But if users go ahead and make some changes, save them, and close the file, the file will save normally, and the GET INFO box will show that the file is unlocked.

Note: This will only happen when saving to an AppleShare server. MacDraw II 1.1v2 will behave normally when working on a locked file on a local hard disk.
