MacDraw II: Can‘t use Rescale When Pasting

You cannot resize scanned images or text using the Rescale When Pasting feature of MacDrawÊII. Text cannot be rescaled. You can only change the size of text by selecting a different font size.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
However, you can resize a scanned image manually using the Show Size feature as a guide. With the scanned image object selected, Show Size shows the horizontal and vertical resolution of that image. With this technique, a 72 dpi image can be reduced to create a 144 dpi image, for example.

Text and bitmaps can be rescaled in MacDraw Pro using the Scale Selection command.
