When a LaserWriter is the chosen printer, MacDraw II establishes default drawing sizes for US Letter and US Legal paper sizes as specified below. You can increase the drawing area slightly by selecting Larger Print Area (select Options in Page Setup to find this setting).

Legal ......... 6.72 by 12.50 in.

Letter ....... 8.00 by 10.77 in.
Legal ......... 8.00 by 13.59 in.
It's important to note that despite the maximum drawing size the application allows, the final drawing size is determined by the printer. Below are the maximum printable areas for the LaserWriter, LaserWriter II NT/NTX and LaserWriter II SC. Notice that the LaserWriter isn't capable of printing the entire drawing area for US Legal when Larger Print Area is selected.
