Bird's Eye: A bird's eye view is a perspective drawing taken from above the center, looking down.
Elevation: If you have an elevation of a wall, it would be drawn as though you were standing directly in front of the center of the wall.
Exploded View: An exploded view is a drawing that shows all of the components of an assembly and how they fit together. Anyone who has assembled a model car or airplane has worked with exploded view drawings.
Orthogonal: An orthographic projection is a drawing that shows in a single drawing, what the object or assembly would look like from three angles (usually front, side and top) by the use of outlines, dashed lines and projection lines.
Perspective: In a perspective view, you would view the wall at an angle, with lines showing the depth of the wall and indicating a vanishing point.
Projection Lines: Projection lines are dashed lines, ending in arrows, which indicate the part of the projected view as it relates to the ÔrealÕ view of the object.
