MacDraw Pro: When Selecting "Turn On Slide Show", Slides Are Too Small

MacDraw Pro reduces the view to show the entire drawing size when turning on Slide Show.
Extra whole pages are added to the drawing to hold objects that you've moved, resized or pasted if the objects are touching or overlapping the page boundaries.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.

Reduce the Drawing Size of your document.

- Select the Drawing Size command from the Layout pull down menu, then click in the small white square(s) in the upper-left corner of the gray drawing square, then click OK.

This reduces the drawing size to the minimum number of whole pages needed to hold the objects.

If MacDraw Pro won't let you reduce the Drawing Size to the number of pages you want, move these objects off the unwanted pages, then try reducing the Drawing Size again.

TIP: Setting the Drawing Size by clicking on the white squares in Drawing increases or decreases the document only in whole-page increments. You can resize the drawing size in finer increments than whole pages by typing in the drawings width and height. An easy way to reduce the drawing size to the minimum size without moving objects is by typing the number 1 into the width entry box, and the height entry box. MacDraw Pro will change your entries to the minimum dimensions necessary to hold your objects.
