MacDraw II: Objects pasted into other applications missing

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
Issue #1:
Objects copied from MacDraw II and pasted into another application are missing on screen. Try this to help locate where the difficulty is occurring: In MacDraw II, copy the objects to the clipboard. Switch to the Finder. In the Finder, select Show Clipboard. Expand the clipboard window and view the objects. If the objects are all there, then they are exporting out of MacDraw successfully. The difficulty is probably due to something happening in the other application. If objects are missing in the Finder's clipboard, then they have not exported successfully from MacDraw. The difficulty is happening in MacDraw.

Try the following:
1) Copy and paste to the scrapbook, then copy / paste from the scrapbook to the other application
2) Save As to a PICT file, then import the PICT file into the other application
3) Check the destination application for Preferences - type options that may affect importing or pasting graphics.

Issue #2:
Objects copied from MacDraw II and pasted into another application are visible on screen, but not printing. This is usually due to a conflict with Print Monitor or other print spoolers. Try turning off the print spooler and printing again. Also, try turning off all options in page setup, then printing again.
