MacDraw Pro: Objects get Converted to B & W Patterns on Color Screen

This may happen if you use an utility such as Switcharoo to switch to 2-color mode while a document is open in MacDraw Pro, change to go to another application in MultiFinder, then change back to MacDraw Pro.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.

If you then use Switcharoo to switch to a color video mode, the objects will still appear on screen as black and white patterns.

To refresh the screen properly, select the Control Panel, then close it. Or, just wait about 10 seconds or so. MacDraw Pro will check the bit depth every 10 seconds or so, then redraw the screen to match the new video settings.
