MacDraw Pro: Place Command Does Not Import Palettes

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
When using the Place command to place one MacDraw Pro document into another, the palettes from the placed file are not imported.

The Place command places only the objects from the placed file. It does not import file settings. This includes palettes, gradients, custom pen widths, Set Views, etc.

You can import the palette by selecting the Open Palette command in the Color Palette pop-up, then selecting the same file that you Placed.
