Claris Software: TrueType (System 7.0) Compatibility

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
Text printed in Final mode with MacProject II and MacDraw II shows a marked improvement with the addition of TrueType.

However plotting text in Final mode from Claris CAD 1.0v3 or higher (which plot at a higher resolution), takes more memory and more time to plot than before. In fact, it will stroke each letter hundreds of times as if it were drawing with a "very" small pen. With some paper this will result in "laser-quality" text while other paper may be become torn in this process. This behavior is not witnessed in the 3.7v4 version of MacPlot Professional which provided compatibility with outline fonts.
