When opening the MacDraw Pro application or the Color Editor, you may see colors in other windows and in images on the desktop flash to other colors.
This happens because the Claris Colors palette that MacDraw Pro uses is different than the Macintosh System color palette. If your video interface is set to 256 colors or less, it cannot simultaneously display all the colors in the Claris Color palette and the Macintosh default palette.
You can eliminate the flashing color changes in the background by:
1) Setting your monitor to display more than 256 colors, or
2) Use the Apple System Color palettes to create your drawings instead of the Claris Colors palette. MacDraw Pro disks include a choice of three Apple Colors palettes.
