MacDraw Pro: Can‘t Place 32-bit TIFF Or PICT Graphics

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
When trying to place 24 / 32-bit graphic images, such as TIFF or PICT, the image is not placed into the document. No warning box or dialog box is displayed.

Install the 32-bit QuickDraw INIT, then restart the computer.

To place 32-bit graphic images into MacDraw Pro, the 32-bit QuickDraw INIT must be installed (or in ROM). This is true even for Mac Plus, SE, and Classic, which do not otherwise require the 32-bit QuickDraw INIT to run MacDraw Pro.
