Subject:
Printing a document where the text gets cut-off in the (screen or printout) right hand side and/or the wrap arounds on the text for that text block doesn't match what shows on the screen (not WYSIWYG).
Solution:
Find out if there are any type of extra large LaserWriter fonts installed for that particular font face like 32, 48, 56, 72. If this large font sizes are installed, the text will not print properly, even when the sizes used are the standard font sizes like 10, 12, 14, etc. It seems that the font address table gets corrupted. The fonts need to be completely removed, meaning all font sizes, a new system re-installed, before you can print the form without the text cropped off. The font will still print because it is in the printer.
The situation here is that you then don't have that font available for a new document.
Using Suitcase doesn't solve the situation. Once you Open the file in Suitcase and try to address it the situation still persists and Closing the large font file doesn't clear it.
This large LaserWriter font file, LaserWriter LSF, is being distributed by Autographix for the users of their services.
