This release includes several important changes to Claris CAD, which are described below.
1) Improved import of Claris CAD 1.0 files
* Attempting to open certain Claris CAD 1.0 files in Claris CAD 2.0 would inappropriately generate the alert - Sorry, there is not enough memory available to open "xxxxx". This was due to an invalid value saved with the document. These files can now be opened in Claris CAD 2.0v2.
* Claris CAD 1.0 rotated circular arcs are now properly converted when opened in Claris CAD 2.0v2.
* Files created in international versions of Claris CAD 1.0 and MacDraw II 1.1 will now import directly into U.S. or other international versions of Claris CAD 2.0v2.
2) Improved stability on Macintosh IIfx, IIci, SE, Plus, and Portable computers
* On a IIfx or IIci, using the Location bar in conjunction with the GuideLiner sometimes caused system errors. This has been corrected in Claris CAD 2.0v2.
* On a SE, Plus, or Portable, updating the Info window with multiple layers or editing a tolerance value in the Dimensions window caused a system error. This has been corrected in Claris CAD 2.0v2.
3) Updated files
* The Claris CAD font, contained in the GDT Font suitcase, and its associated ClarisCADFon PostScript font file have been updated to include +/-, * and O characters
* The latest version of the MacDraw II 1.1 XTND file filter has been included.
* The 8 Color Stationery file and the Berol RapiDesign sampler are now included on the Claris CAD Help disk.
4) Improved accuracy when using modifiers with the GuideLiner Preview feature turned off
5) Improved handling of symbol libraries
* Cutting, deleting, or ungrouping library objects could cause system errors, corrupt files, or inappropriate floater operation memory alerts. This has been corrected in Claris CAD 2.0v2
