MacDraw Pro: Text Insertion Point Misplaced

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
When editing text at odd zoom levels (e.g., 344%), the cursor may appear placed incorrectly. That is, instead of being between letters, it may be over the middle of a letter or out of the text object entirely. To fix this problem, turn ON Kerning by Pairs in Preferences. This will space the text properly so it can be edited at zoom levels that are not an even multiple or fraction of 100%. Or, zoom back to 100% or some even multiple, such as 50% or 200%, to edit text.

This symptom can also occur when running the Mode 32 INIT with MacDraw Pro 1.0v1. Update to MacDraw Pro 1.5 to use with the Mode 32 INIT.
