Claris Resolve: Inserting a Row

The 'Insert' command only moves cells over to the right -- not down.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.

The 'Insert' command will only insert a row when you select the row heading on the far left side of the spreadsheet. Otherwise, 'insert' will only allow you to enter in blank columns or cells to the left of the selected cell. The only way to get a selected row of blank cells is to cut and paste.
