MacDraw Pro: White Pen Objects Printing/Viewing Black

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
Objects from MacDraw Pro 1.0/1.5 created with a white pen, and saved as a MacDraw II file are printed and/or viewed as black from MacDraw II.

Reselect the objects in MacDraw II, then reset the pen color to white.

In MacDraw Pro 1.0v1, create an object and set the pen color to white. Save As the document to MacDraw II format. Open the file in MacDraw II.

The objects will have a black pen color on non-color Macs. The objects will appear to have a white pen color viewed on color Macs. The objects will print to a Postscript LaserWriter as black from either Mac.
