This is fixed in MacDraw Pro 1.5
Issue: Spell checking by selecting different text with the text tool can cause the computer to crash. The following steps illustrate the issue:
1- Create 2 text fields.
2- Double-click the text tool and click in the first text field.
3- Spell Check Selection.
4- When done, immediately click in the next text field.
5- Spell Check Selection again.
Solution: Do not spell check with the text tool double-clicked. Instead, single-click the text tool, check the spelling of the first text selection. Then select the text tool again (command-spacebar is the fastest way to do this), then check the spelling of the second text selection.
Or, select the text objects with the selection tool instead of the text tool, then check spelling.
