There is a known issue saving out to a PICT file from MacDraw Pro 1.0v1 or 1.5v1/v2. The PICT file will be slightly wider and taller than the original MacDraw Pro file.
This issue is most noticeable when saving out drawings with a colored background, such as creating slides to be sent to a slide bureau. The colored background is created by filling the entire drawing with a colored rectangle. When this is saved as PICT, the drawing is slightly larger than the colored rectangle by about 1/4", both horizontally and vertically. This extra width and height will, of course, be empty. Thus, the slide will not be entirely filled with a background color.
There is no current workaround to this issue.
