StyleWriter: Prints Incorrectly with Print Monitor Turned Off

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
This is fixed with the StyleWriter driver version 7.2.2, which is included with the System 7 Tuneup 1.1.1.

The StyleWriter driver version 1.1 prints incorrectly when BackGround Printing is TURNED OFF. This is a issue with the print driver and Print Monitor, not with a Claris product.

To Reproduce
1) Open Claris CAD, MacDraw II or MacDraw Pro.
2) Show Rulers.
3) Open the Drawing or Drawing size dialog and add 2 pages horizontally for a total of 3 pages.
4) Draw a rectangle approximatley 1" wide that straddles the 18 1/4" ruler mark and fill it with a pattern.
5) Print the third page in "Best" mode with Background Printing "Off".
The rectangle will print the entire width of the page.
Note: If the Rectangle is located entirely before or after the 18 1/4" mark it will either print correctly or not at all.

Workarounds
1) Print in Fast Mode
2) Turn Background Printing "On"
3) Use Stylewriter printer driver 7.2.2 or later, or version 1.0 (7.0).
