Claris Resolve: Formula References are Not Copied

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
Issue: When I cut and paste my formula, sometimes the formula copies, and sometimes the cell shows as zeros. What's wrong?

Solution: Like most spreadsheets, when a formula or range of formulae are Pasted after performing a Cut, the cell references will not be changed (i.e. they will act like absolute references even if they are defined as relative). This is referred to as Moving your formula.

There is a bug, however, that may cause this feature to work incorrectly. If the cells directly to the right and left of the range being Cut are formatted in something other than General, the formula references will change (this is normal when performing a Copy).

This issue was corrected in Claris Resolve 1.0v3.
