ClarisWorks 1.0 Spreadsheet
The Borders... command does not indicate the formatting of the currently selected cell(s). The check boxes in the Borders dialog are always unchecked when this command is chosen. Therefore, clicking OK in this dialog without selecting a border check box will remove all borders for the selected cells.
Also, choosing Outline borders for a series of selected cells will not automatically turn off other border styles for those cells. To remove the current borders for a series of cells and outline all of them:
1. Select the cells.
2. Choose Borders...
3. Leave the check boxes unchecked and click OK to remove the current borders.
4. Choose Borders...
5. Click on Outline and then OK to outline the selected cells.

I f a checkbox has an X in it, all selected cells have that border checked. If a checkbox has a dash in it, one or more, but not all, of the selected cells have that border checked. If a checkbox is empty, none of the selected cells have that border checked.
