When importing files of another format (e.g. Microsoft Works) users may get the message "Unable to import file. Unknown file version".
This message is an indication that ClarisWorks is recognizing the creator type of the file. It is identifying it as a AppleWorks or Microsoft Works file, for example, but is unable to read the version of the file. This will occur, for example, if the user attempts to open a MS Works 1.0 database file.
Two possible solutions
* Open and save the file in the version supported by ClarisWorks. (e.g. open the MicroSoft Works file in MSWorks 2.0)
* Export or save the file in a format supported by ClarisWorks. (e.g. Text, Export formats)
