ClarisWorks: How To Display Leading Zeros In A Cell

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
In some cases you may want to display a number with leading zeros (i.e. 007). ClarisWorks Spreadsheet and ClarisImpact Table Model will normally identify 007 as a number and trim the leading zeros. To override this, type an equal sign and enclose the number in double quotes.

Example: ="007"

In the above example, 007 will be displayed WITH the leading zeros and will default to left justification as all text fields do.
