About 1.1 Enhancements (released 4/92)
Excel 3.0 Import/Export.
Claris Resolve 1.1 can now import and export Excel 3.0 files. (Import/export of graphic objects and publish/subscribe links is not included. Macro conversions is also not supported.)
Host Access Support.
1.1 can execute DAL query documents created by third party access tools such as Brio Technology's DataPrism and Fairfield's Clear Access. In addition, Claris Resolve can also execute DataPrism "AutoRun" documents, providing access to host databases through not only DAL, but Pathworks, SQL-Net and Sequel Link as well.
Improved Printing Performance
Printing on postscript printers is up to 50% faster.
Copy as Pict
New item added to the Utilities menu.
Default Separator Change
Claris Resolve will now enter plus (+) signs instead of commas when selecting discontiguous cells in a formula. You can still get commas by holding down the command key while clicking on your second cell.
Installer Changes
There is now an option to install the Utilities scripts via the Installer's Custom Install section. They will not be installed when performing an Easy Install. Additionally, the utilities scripts will now be in their own folder instead of having to be placed into the Resolve Scripts Folder.
