Situation: You want to insert a row into your spreadsheet file and you want it to have the formatting of the row above it. The issue is that if you copy and paste the row above or use Fill Down, you will get not only the formatting, but you will get all of the entries in those rows.
While there is no easy way to get the formats without the entries, you can do this:
1) Insert the new row.
2) Select and copy the row that you wish to copy.
3) Select the new row and paste.
4) Click into column A of the new row.
5) Hit 0 then tab. Hit 0 then tab again until you have cleared out all of the data in the row.
This works well except that in fields that are formatted as dates, you will get January 1, 1904 (date 0).
