DAL support for in Claris Resolve 1.1 requires the installation of the utility scripts. The easiest way to install these scripts is to use the installer and choose Utility Scripts in the custom section.
Once the scripts are installed, you simply need to launch Claris Resolve and choose "Run Autorun..." or "Run Query Document..." from the Utilities menu. A dialog box will be presented with a button for selecting your Autorun or Query document and whether you want to bring the data into a new worksheet or a specified range on the current worksheet.
The actual code for the host access support is handled by a Claris Resolve External located in the HostAccess script located in the Utility Scripts folder in the Resolve Samples folder. If you wish to use this external in a custom script, you may copy all the resources from this script using a utility such as ResEdit and paste them into your script or worksheet.
