ClarisWorks: Could Not Configure Terminal Emulation Tool

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
This was fixed in ClarisWorks 2.0.

Claris ships several communications tools with ClarisWorks. Other tools, such as the VT320 tool, are available from Apple and third-party developers.

If you save a Communications document from ClarisWorks 1.0 with the VT320 terminal tool selected, upon reopening the file you will get the message: "Could not configure terminal emulation tool." In addition, terminal settings such as cursor and host writable settings are not saved.
