ClarisWorks: Color Graphic in Read Me File Prints in B&W

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
The Read Me file included with ClarisWorks has a graphic at the top that looks like the ClarisWorks Application icon (a red box containing several tools representing the different modules in ClarisWorks) as well as several other red graphics used as bullets (they look like splashes of paint).

The graphic at the top of the Read Me file is a bitmap while the bullets are PICT graphics. Since ClarisWorks cannot print bitmaps to an ImageWriter in color, the graphic at the top prints in black and the bullets print in color. On the other hand, a color DeskWriter will print both graphics in color as they appear on the screen.
