After setting your document margins, use Text Frames in MacWrite Pro or ClarisWorks to position your return and mailing addresses (for an example, see the Envelope document in the Samples folder).

Envelope feeding in the DeskWriters
The original DeskWriter and the DeskWriter C accept envelopes one at a time. The envelopes are fed in top first. Page Setup is set to portrait when printing envelopes.

The DeskWriter 550C and 560C accept multiple envelopes. The envelopes are fed sideways so that the top of the envelope is the left printing side of the printed page. Page Setup is set to landscape when printing envelopes.

Envelope feeding in the StyleWriter
StyleWriter I printers accept envelopes top edge first, one at a time via a manual feed. Page Setup is set to portrait when printing envelopes. StyleWriter II printers accept envelopes sideways, and you must press the lever to the envelope setting.

Note: StyleWriter ink is water soluble, can smear and become unreadable if it gets wet. Do not print envelopes on the StyleWriter if there is any possiblity of the envelope getting wet.
