In ClarisWorks you can hide rows and columns in the spreadsheet by clicking on the border of a row or column header and dragging to collapse it.
However, if you hide the first row or column, you cannot click on the intersection between the row and column headers to select the entire spreadsheet. If you click on the intersection, you will get the resize pointer, which will allow you to resize the rows or columns which have been reduced to zero.
To select the whole sheet, you must use Select All from the Edit Menu and select Row Height or Column Width from the Format menu to restore the spreadsheet to its default column widths or row heights.
Tip: When you collapse the first few rows or columns, first resize Row 1 or Column A, leaving just a little space so it isn't collapsed all the way. This will prevent the selection problem.
