Creating a New Layout with More Fields Than Can Fit on a Single Page

When creating a new layout, fields won't be added if they extend beyond the bottom of the page. They can be added manually using the Insert Field command from the Layout menu.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.

In ClarisWorks for Windows 1.0v1, creating a new layout in a database containing more fields than can fit vertically down a page creates labels for all the fields, but only creates the number of fields that can fit on the page.

To add those fields that were not automatically added to the layout, Choose Insert Field from the Layout menu, Choose a field and click the OK button. You can then manually place the field anywhere on the layout.
