Gradients won‘t Print at Full Resolution

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
If you publish a gradient and subscribe to it in another ClarisWorks document, the subscriber will print the gradient at 72 dpi instead of the full resolution of the printer.

Publish & Subscribe transports objects through the system clipboard, causing the special hinting of a ClarisWorks gradient to be lost.

This also occurs when you copy a gradient, paste it into the Scrapbook, copy from the Scrapbook and paste back into ClarisWorks. In fact, ClarisImpact will not even print the gradient within the confines of the object.

Copying and pasting without going through the Scrapbook retains the full quality of the gradient.
