How to Add a Caption to a Graphic
Follow these steps:
1. Choose "Show Tools" from the View Menu (or press Shift-Command-T) to open the tool palette. Note that the Text Tool is selected in the palette, even though your graphic is selected in the document.
2. With the Text Tool selected, hold down the Option Key and click once to the right of the figure. Holding down the Option Key tells ClarisWorks to create a new text frame within the document.
3. Change the font to Helvetica 10 point italic.
4. Type "Figure 1:" and then your caption.
5. Press the Enter Key to select the text frame.
6. Drag the text frame or use the Arrow Keys to place the text to the right of the graphic.
