Q. Why doesn't ClarisWorks automatically keep the date with the name of the month when you get to the end of a line? Is there any way to keep words and phrases together when they appear at the right margin?

A. What you need are "Sticky Spaces", which tell ClarisWorks not to split two words at the end of a line. Typing Option-Space puts a "sticky space" in your document. (ctrl-space in Windows) This works in ClarisWorks and most other applications.

This solution works in most Claris programs.
