Increasing the Size of a ClarisWorks Layout

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
The ways to accommodate more fields on a page, or to make the layout larger is to do one or more of the following:

1) Make the size of the font for your fields smaller.

2) Increase the size of the page in the Page Setup dialog.

3) In the Page Setup dialog, change the Reduce/Enlarge option to a lesser percentage (like 50%). (This option is usually the easiest and most preferable.)

4) Change the margins in the Document dialog (choose Document under the Format Menu) to a lesser number.

Remember-

1) ClarisWorks still has a limit of 255 fields for a database document.

2) Changing items in the Page Setup dialog will change how all your layouts print out until these options are reset.

3) In order for fields to be visible, they must be contained in a part. You may need to drag the body down to the bottom of the layout to see all the fields.
