Symptom:
When opening a file, an alert appears that says "Color QuickDraw is Required to Open this Document".
Explanation: The document you're attempting to open is either a Paint document, or has a paint frame in it. This document was created on a color-capable Macintosh that supports full color. However, the computer you're using to open the document does not support full color (Macintosh Plus, SE, Classic).
These Macintosh models do not support opening documents that have full color paint objects in them. (They can, however, open ClarisWorks documents that have color objects or color text.) There is no workaround, other than reopening the document on a color-capable Macintosh, deleting the color paint object, then resaving the document.
