Find/Change and WorldScript

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
Certain WorldScript fonts will not display correctly in the Find/Change dialog window, they will show up as boxes.

The Find/Change dialog box uses regular Chicago (from the system) in its Find/Change dialog and certain WorldScript fonts do not have a corresponding characters, therefore they will not display correctly in the dialog window.

WorldScript and WorldScript fonts do not take into account dialog windows that access the system on which the program running.

This however does not prevent Find/Change from working correctly. The characters that are either typed or pasted into the Find and Change fields may not appear correctly, but they will work and will make the correct finds and changes in the document.

This would not be a problem for a version of MacWrite Pro working in a native environment. For example a Russian system with a Russian font would work fine.
