When you have a Subscriber in a ClarisWorks 2.0 or ClarisImpact document, and changes are made to the Edition file to which that Subscriber is linked, then open the document, the Subscriber updates to show the most recent information. (You can see the change on-screen.)
However, if you close the file, there is no prompt to save changes. The changes are not retained until you choose the Save command in the file with the Subscriber, although every time you open the file, you will see the changes take place in the Subscriber.
