Multi-Monitor Presentations

When doing a presentation in ClarisWorks 2.0 or ClarisImpact how can I get the slide show to appear on my second monitor? I tried moving the window to my second monitor but the slide show keeps moving back to my startup screen.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.

ClarisWorks 2.0 and ClarisImpact show their slide shows on your startup screen regardless of what screen your document is actually on. To change your startup screen follow the procedures below:

1. Quit ClarisWorks 2.0 or ClarisImpact.
2. Choose Control Panels from the Apple menu.
3. Notice that one of the screens has a tiny menu bar on it.
4. Grab the menu bar and move it to the other monitor.
5. Restart your computer and try the presentation again.

(Note that, depending upon one of the settings in the Monitors Control Panel, you may not need to restart your machine. If you've selected "Rearrange Upon Close" instead of "Rearrange Upon Restart" then you just have to close the Monitors Control Panel to change the arrangement of the monitors.)
