Publish & Subscribe may not update the Subscriber when the Subscriber, Publisher and Edition files are moved to another computer. Publish and Subscribe is networkable so as to facilitate group editing of a document. Even if you move the Edition file along with the Publisher and Subscriber documents, the original path to the edition file is remembered. Tests at Claris showed that launching the files on a different computer will initiate an attempt to mount the volume of the original computer if file sharing is enabled.
Workaround:
If you do not want your files to remember the original location of the Edition file then create a new edition file at the computer on which you wish to use the files.
