ClarisWorks 2.0 and ClarisImpact all allow you to create text with typographically correct quotation marks.
However, when using these curly "Smart" quotes in your text, if you use Shift-Return to enter a "soft return" (Shift-Return also creates a second line within an outline topic) and begin that second line with a quotation mark, you will incorrectly get closing smart quotes instead of opening smart quotes. Essentially, the "Smart" quotes get confused.
To get the correct quotation mark, add a blank space at the beginning of the line after the Shift-Return, type in the quotation mark, then delete that extra space.
