The Text Wrap feature ignores drop shadows and outline bullets. Text wrap allows you to wrap text around a graphic, but if you add a drop shadow to a graphic, or if you are working with outlines, wrapped text may overlap the drop shadow. In addition, Outline bullets do not wrap, although the outline text wraps normally.
1. Select your graphic and turn Text Wrap off.
2. Outline the boundaries of the graphic (including the drop shadow) with the polygon, bezigon, or freehand tool. (We recommend the polygon or bezigon tool.)
3. Choose Move to Back from the Arrange menu.
4. Set the fill to white and the pen to none.
5. Shift-click the graphic (so that both the graphic and the new object are selected) and choose Group from the Arrange menu.
6. Choose Text Wrap from the Options menu. Set the wrap to Irregular. Now ClarisImpact will wrap around both objects, and the wrap will take into account the drop shadow.
