Claris Impact: Replace Clones does not Work as Expected

Replace Clones may not work properly if two different Libraries have objects with the same name. For example:

1. Open the Animals Library
2. Add the "Cow" object to the document
3. Create a Circle
4. Create a new Library and add the Circle to the Library
5. Rename the circle to have the name "Cow"
6. Add the new "Cow" object to the document

Try using Replace Clones now. You should notice that Replace Clones identifies objects by name and will replace any object named "Cow". If you are using more than two Libraries and each Library has an object with the name "Cow" then you may find that Claris Impact will disregard some of the Cows when using Replace Clones.

Workaround:
Do not use the same name for different objects.
